Schloss Ernegg is the Auersperg family’s beautiful 12th century castle

Schloss Ernegg is ideally located in the heart of Austria and available for exclusive hire for weddings and celebrations.  Of course, you can also book a room and spend a quiet holiday in this over 1000-year-old building. The castle is the perfect place to escape from your everyday life, relax, enjoy some time with your loved ones or turn your business meeting into a unique experience for all participants. Our in-house events team will guide you through the organisation and implementation of your customised event.

The castle regularly accommodates 50 people, but there is enough space to set up 30 additional beds for larger events. Accommodation is divided over three floors and into suites and double rooms, most of which have en-suite bathrooms.  All rooms are large and individually designed and decorated with family antiques, portraits and memorabilia from bygone times.

This family-owned castle is full of charm. The elegant public rooms take you back to the time when it was still a private home. The large, luxurious and comfortable saloons make it the perfect place to relax with a delicious glass of wine or dance the night away.

Schloss Ernegg is situated in the beautiful Mostviertel region and surrounded by one of Austria’s most spectacular landscapes with a wealth of culture, vineyards, castles, abbeys and medieval villages waiting to be explored.

For those who love golf, Schloss Ernegg has its very own golf course. The 18-hole Championship course is located in the Erlauf Valley just below the castle.
